Nifty & Bank Nifty Pivot Points — Monday, 13 July 2026
Nifty closed 54 points above the pivot after a fairly ordinary 260-point session — nothing dramatic, but the close near the day's high tells you sellers didn't really show up in the back half.
Bank Nifty did something similar. Closed 183 points above its pivot, near the top of a 728-point range. Not a runaway move, but the structure is on the buyers' side going into today.
Nifty 50 — levels for the day
| Level | Value |
|---|---|
| R2 | 24,416.60 |
| R1 | 24,313.80 |
| Pivot | 24,157.00 |
| S1 | 24,054.20 |
| S2 | 23,897.40 |
R1 at 24,313 is the first thing to watch — that's roughly 100 points away and close to where yesterday's high stalled. A clean break and hold above it opens up R2. On the downside, the pivot at 24,157 is the line I'd personally watch; lose that and S1 comes into play quickly. The zone between pivot and R1 is where most of the chop lives, so don't overtrade the middle.
Bank Nifty — levels for the day
| Level | Value |
|---|---|
| R2 | 58,675.65 |
| R1 | 58,403.55 |
| Pivot | 57,947.80 |
| S1 | 57,675.70 |
| S2 | 57,219.95 |
BN is sitting just under R1. Close call — either it pushes through in the first hour or it fades back toward the pivot. Worth noting the R1-R2 gap is 272 points, so if it does break out there's some room. S1 at 57,675 is the level bulls need to defend if things turn; below that and yesterday's low (57,492) becomes the next test.
Not the cleanest setup for aggressive positional plays — closes near the highs after a mid-sized range often lead to gap-and-fade or gap-and-go, so let the first 15-20 minutes tell you which one before committing size.
