Pivot Levels

Nifty & Bank Nifty Pivot Points — Thursday, 11 June 2026

Yesterday closed strong on both indices — Nifty held the upper half of its range and Bank Nifty basically closed at the day's high. That changes how I'm reading today's levels. When you close near the high, the prior session's resistance often becomes the reference point, not a wall.

The levels I'm actually watching

Nifty 23,645 (yesterday's high) into R1 at 23,740. This is the zone. Price closed just 22 points below yesterday's high, so the open is going to test that immediately. If we punch through 23,645 and hold above it for the first 30 minutes, R1 at 23,740 becomes the next magnet. If it rejects, we're back into the pivot at 23,527. Honestly, the cleanest trades today come from waiting to see how the first hour treats 23,645 — don't front-run it.

Bank Nifty 56,867 — yesterday's high sits almost on top of the index. Close was 56,814, high was 56,867. That's 50 points. Bank Nifty either gaps over this and runs at R1 (57,212), or it gets sold into and we slip back to the pivot near 56,469. Not the cleanest setup for fresh longs at the open — premium will be inflated. I'd personally keep size small until the direction off the open is clear.

Nifty S1 at 23,409. Worth noting only because it lines up reasonably close to yesterday's low at 23,313. If there's any unwinding today, this is the first real shelf. Below that and the 23,195 S2 comes into play, but we're getting ahead of ourselves.
